I hope this finds you enjoying the summer days and warm nights.
As this is the season of summer vacation in Finland, I’m going to take some time off with my family too. (Hint – the berry picking season is about to begin so you’ll most likely find me at the swamps and forests for the next few weeks.)
I’m looking forward to a lot of swimming, sweating in the woods, spending time with loved ones and enjoying my hubby’s grilling and barbecuing.
We got an excellent start of this as my friend and her family from Norway are visiting us currently.
A little side note. It’s been so wonderful to witness how kids find their ways of communicating when they don’t have a common native language. After a week together with our guests, they’re getting comfortable at using English.
