Stay in your vision!

As an entrepreneur, staying in your vision has been one of the most important things in becoming successful. As well as one of the biggest life lessons I’ve learned. Already when a child, I had a very vivid imagination (still have), and I loved visioning and dreaming of new ideas. I thought of visions and ideas as giving birth to something new.

Thus, I’d like to invite you to take a moment and think back at all those marvelous ideas you’ve had in your life. And how you, because of those ideas, have created and given birth to so many beautiful things in this world. That’s something worth celebrating!

When I was just starting to get hang of what I was doing as an entrepreneur (ha!), I was trying to live someone else’s vision true. Not my own. I forgot about my own vision, because someone thought it should be something different. And I didn’t have the guts to stay in my own vision. Then.

As you probably guess, it led to trouble’s way. One that took too long to course correct. Yet, at the same time, it taught me an important lesson about life and success.

Stay in your own vision.

If you don’t, it doesn’t come from your heart. If it doesn’t come from your heart, it’s detrimental to your confidence. And if it’s detrimental to your confidence, it won’t be sustainable in the long run.

Now, I’m looking back at those times with my heart full of compassion. Back then I didn’t yet know that learning to stay in my own vision was one of the biggest life lessons to be learned.

When was the last time you connected with your vision? Or your dreams? Too long ago, right?

With the everyday hurdles of life, it’s easy to forget the original vision and just concentrate on making ends meet. Not necessarily, or just, financially, but physicallyemotionally and spiritually, too.

Well, if that’s the case, then the danger is, that you’re deviating from the original vision of yours. It’s not always a bad thing, of course. But if you’re not aware of it, then it might be.

Luckily, this is easily repaired.

Just take a moment to connect with your dream and vision again. Preferable set up a regular meeting with your vision, so it stays fresh in your mind. And it  stays present in your actions.

Much love,
Paula
