I’m sure you’ve experienced those moments, when you’ve noticed that you’ve made a mistake! Oh, what a heartburning feeling it may be (of course depending on the mistake)! Even thinking about few particular moments in the past makes my heart beat faster and that uncomfortable feeling creep in…
Most of all I want to remind you that we all make mistakes. It’s totally normal. You’re not alone in this.
But what I’ve noticed over the years is that when it comes to making our dreams come true, we don’t always take those corrective actions so naturally. Sometimes people don’t even look back at what mistakes did they do when their dreams are not coming true. Too often we just want to get back up, change the direction and continue as nothing happened.
And I’m not meaning that we’d continue as nothing happened in pursuing our dreams, but continuing in life as we’d never even had the dream.
And that’s a real pitty. Cause all of those dreams you’ve got, are there for a reason. They matter. You matter.
If your dreams haven’t been coming to fruition the way you’d like them to, it’s not about you being not worthy. Or not good enough. Or not deserving.
It’s about a small tweak you need in your mindset. Shifting the focus a little bit in order to realign with your dream. And to be able to go forward with those inspired actions.
You have the permission to want what you want. So, let yourself dream freely. Without limitations. Without judgement.
It’s not like you need to make every wish come true. It’s about enjoying the dreaming itself. Only when we allow ourselves to dream, can we really fully express ourselves.
If you’re used to limit yourself, take time to notice what it is that you actually want. Take a moment, sit down and acknowledge how you would like your life to be. Identify what it is that you desire regularly in your everyday life. How would you like your life to be different at the moment?
You can write these ideas down. Without censoring. Without criticism.
There are few things to avoid and keep in mind when going forward with the process of making your dreams come true. Here are the three most common ones.
#1 Stay out of the how’s!
When we’re thinking about our dreams, we too often jump right into the how’s. How are they going to come true. However, when you figure out the *what* and the *why* and the *when*, the how’s just automatically come together.
#2 Stay in your own dreams
Make sure your dreams are really yours and not someone else’s dreams for you. And that you’re not trying to please and gain acceptance of someone else with your dreams. When your dreams aren’t really yours, they never work in the long run.
#3 Stay connected to your why
No one really likes to do anything without a good enough reason. If you don’t know why you’re doing what you’re doing, the motivation for your actions is most likely dependent on outside conditions. In other words, on things that are out of your own control. And honestly, how has that worked for you? Yeah, that’s why you need to know your own why.
My sole purpose is to be here for you. To guide you through the blocks to stay on track and keep your dream alive. Especially when you’re making mistakes and ready to quit.
